I was raised by a multi-disciplinary, award-winning artist who has carried on for half a century without a break. She has produced exquisite artwork only to be appreciated by small demographics, yet she was happy in that place. She thought she would not go any further or grow as a business, and I once thought this was how most art was meant to be.

Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in London, I started my career in the creative media industry. I have worked with many creative types, including artists and musicians, for twenty years as a producer and creative director.

I have often questioned why great things are not chosen simply because of subconscious biases, such as being from a different culture, being too old, being too academic, or just being unfamiliar. Throughout my career in the creative industry, seeing one person break through while another dies out, I have started to see the pattern of why and how some succeed. This is rarely because of skills or technique alone.

Although most of my work has involved digital arts, my heart has always been in human craft and human connections. Even in the digital world, our human efforts tend to be overlooked. The emotions and compassion that should reach and connect with customers are often lost behind digital codes.

Now I believe that I must use my decades of knowledge and skills to support real people and the real art of heritage. I help artists and makers in person, side by side, no matter their size. You have created true beauty and deserve to be chosen.

The digital world will flourish and is not going anywhere. We will adapt as we live, but human craft should not be lost to digital noise.

Only humans can produce true artisans, and only human resonance can save it.
